Dear Yuvantians,

I hope this message finds you all in high spirits. Today, I want to take a moment to share some thoughts which would definitely act as boosters in the continual journey of all Yuventians and Yuventis.

As a head of this Yuventis family, first and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for the incredible work and dedication that each one of you brings to the organization every day. It's your relentless passion, creativity, and commitment that drive our success and inspire all of us, to put our best efforts in upliftment of our organisation. PMS PAC

In any successful organization, the relationship between leadership and employees is a partnership, a two-way street. I firmly believe that we all have a role to play in shaping our shared future along with our organisation.

People perform 4 roles in an organization-1.Operator 2.Supervisor 3.Manager 4.Leader

All these roles are unique and essential for organizational effectiveness because these levels are created to manage the Scale, Scope and Speed of Decision making. As all leaders typically grow up in the career from being an Operator to Leader, many tend to work on all 4 levels of role. However this is NOT the optimized way of management. A leader should be investing his/her time on core function of leading because any diversion of time into other roles will reduce the time investment in the leadership role. Once a leader has accomplished his/her work, he/she can be a helping hand to others.

Placing the right person in the right role and making the person functional is the prime job of a leader. I seek your cooperation in ensuring that our organization structure is filled with right people and right delegation of work is happening. Right Job descriptions will help in defining the job rightly and Key Performance Goals (KPGS) will help in evaluation of performance of Job holder. If any person in a role is not functional, then there can be only 2 reasons: Either person does not have competencies which are required for the job OR the person does not have right attitude (motivation) to work. In either case, your role as leader becomes important and critical.

We are creating HR department to support you in team management through Coaching and Counseling of an underperforming employee. Employee is the most important asset for an organization and right utilization and right return on human resources is critical for success of an organization. While I encourage you to provide fair chance and opportunity for a underperforming person to improve his/her performance on the job through motivation, training and support however overbearing an underperforming employee will pull down your business performance.

Kindly ensure the regular review of your team performance and ensure that team members are doing the right work. Monthly review meetings should happen and KPG scores should be shared with all the team members along with HR. This will create better understanding of an employee's performance for necessary reward and recognition. I request for your immediate compliance on the above.
